Whistle Blower Policy

Purpose: GSATT Sdn.Bhd. (“the Company”) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and promoting a culture of transparency, accountability, and integrity in all its operations. The purpose of this policy is to provide a mechanism for employees, contractors, customers, and other stakeholders to raise concerns about any actual or potential violation of the Company’s code of conduct, policies, or applicable laws, without fear of retaliation.

Scope: This policy applies to all employees, contractors, agents, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders who have concerns about any unethical or illegal activity that affects the Company’s operations.

Policy:

  1. Reporting channels: The Company encourages whistle-blowers to report any concerns or suspicions of unethical or illegal conduct to their immediate supervisor, manager, or any other senior manager within the Company. Alternatively, whistle-blowers may report their concerns directly to the Whistle-blower Officer, who is appointed by the Company’s Board of Directors.
  2. Confidentiality: The Company will treat all reports of wrongdoing with the utmost confidentiality and sensitivity. The identity of the whistle-blower will be kept confidential to the extent possible, consistent with the need to conduct a thorough investigation.
  3. Protection against retaliation: The Company prohibits any form of retaliation against whistle-blowers who report in good faith any concerns or suspicions of wrongdoing. Retaliation includes but is not limited to termination, demotion, suspension, harassment, or any other adverse action.
  4. Investigation process: Upon receipt of a report, the Whistle-blower Officer will promptly initiate an investigation to determine the veracity of the concerns raised. The investigation may involve interviewing witnesses, reviewing documents, and engaging external experts as necessary.
  5. Feedback and communication: The Whistle-blower Officer will keep the whistle-blower informed of the progress of the investigation and the outcome. The Company will take appropriate corrective action if the investigation reveals any wrongdoing, which may include disciplinary action, termination of employment, or legal action.
  6. False reports: The Company takes false reporting seriously and considers it a violation of this policy. Any whistle-blower who makes a false report in bad faith will be subject to disciplinary action, which may include termination of employment.
